Kang In: "It's good to debut in these competitions"

He may only have turned 18 two days before the game against Celtic, but Kang In's debut in the UEFA Europa League had been much anticipated by fans. It was also a historic first appearance in the competition: No other player born in the 21st Century has played in the Europa League for a Spanish side.
Kang In came on in the 75th minute of the match, and spoke after his quarter-hour cameo at Mestalla.
"I think that it's very good to debut in these competitions. Every time I play I try to do things as well as possible to help the team, and everything I can in order to win," he told VCF MEDIA.
"It would be great to score here at Mestalla in an official game," the South Korean talent continued. "It wasn't to be this time around, and I just have to keep working. I want to help the team and make the fans happy."
Some fans who were happy were a group from his homeland, whom he greeted after the match.
“They have come from Korea to support me and I gave them a shirt, because they help me and I'm grateful for that. I have to thank them for always being by my side -both them and all the Korean fans who support me."
